MAGIC MINUTE // “All an English friend of mine remembers from his visit to the magnificent Jenolan Caves in the Blue Mountains was what happened to him on his perilous journey back to his hostel in the dead of night.

Now Alan had pictured these wombats as a possum-like creature about the size of a large cat. “But when they came crashing out from the undergrowth on the winding roads, these bloody great things came at me like grizzly bears! He said.
And collecting one could render your car undrivable.
This treacherous journey was so nerve-wracking, poor Alan crawled along those hairpin bins, trying not to crash into these Aussie icons as they suddenly appeared.
He finally arrived at his destination, a total wreck.
Travelling in the wilds of Australia can have its challenges!
