Magic Minute Where Have All The Flowers Gone
MAGIC MINUTE // “I opened the hatchback and it was empty! “Where are all the flowers?” I thought.
“I distinctly remember loading that full carton of flowering plants right here in the boot! But maybe I didn’t and have left them in the nursery car park?”
I jumped in the car and headed for the nursery in the hope I’d get there in time to solve the mystery.
Then I saw them perched in their box on the central strip of busy White Horse road. Bright yellow and pink blooms all crying out: “We’re over here!”
Apparently, I’d pulled away at the lights and my hatchback wasn’t shut properly, so the whole box just slid out flatways onto the road.
Then some kind person had neatly placed them on this central strip to be found by their caring owner.
They’re now on full display, safe and sound in my garden.
