MAGIC MINUTE // We all come across special people who Inspire us as we travel through life.
For me it’s people like Mr. Jackman in Primary School, old Bill Menzies in the junkyard and on it goes… all part of who I am today.
In this latest segment of my life my inspiration to start a fresh and not see myself as a has been comes from America’s revered painter Grandma Moses.
She dabbled in drawing and hobby art all her life and only turned to painting because of arthritis in her late’ 70s where she was ‘discovered’ as a painter of renown.
Her prolific paintings are now valued in the thousands, one of which hangs in the White House.
What’s more, she lived to be 101!
I often tell myself if Grandma Moses can do it at 78, so can I!
