I’d just stopped at the lights on my fancy pedal-assist tricycle with a massive 4 L bottle of mineral turpentine in the basket to clean my dirty paint brushes when a lady jogger stopped beside me.
“What a glorious day it is to be out and about!” I chimed.
“Isn’t it wonderful” she said. “And I see you’ve got a nice supply of fresh water in the basket for your journey.”
Before I could explain, the lights changed.
“Enjoy your run!” I called out as I moved away with my undrinkable flagon of turpentine tucked in behind me.
