MAGIC MINUTE // Interesting Elephants 🐘 – Indian elephants I discovered, can be a lot more interesting than hours of tedious overview at a conference on education and technology.
Mercifully Professor Helen Hughes saved us from boredom with a delightful story of her granddaughter at the zoo.
At the elephants, little Anna looked up and said, “Grandma why are they shut up in such a small space?
Shouldn’t they be roaming free in the jungle?”
“Complex questions like this from such a young inquisitive mind make our job as Educators so rewarding,” Professor Hughes told us.
A short video expanded on this of all those talks Anna and the elephants sticks in my mind because it was real and touched me personally.
