MAGIC MINUTE // Ever been judged out of context?

Well, with these Magic Minute videos I soon learned that my speaking voice needed a bit of a tuneup before each event. And the best way to do this was to sing a couple of songs like:

“Ramblin’ Rose, Dum da da da dum, Ramblin’ Rose, Dum da da da dum… Why you ramble, no one knows….”

As this occurs early in the morning my kids thought their poor old dad was losing it!

“There he’s doing it again!” I’d hear them say.

When I explained why a pleasant song was more enjoyable than the tedious scales I used to sing under the blankets as a kid, their misunderstanding simply vanished.
