I don’t carry the title Master Speaking Coach lightly. I have earned the right to proudly wear it by way of my own tortuous journey from fear to humble fame as an effective speaker and legendary speaking coach.
I quickly came to realise that I can’t really help someone overcome their fear of public speaking by throwing them to the wolves in front of an audience while their head is still full of conditioned fears and faulty thinking.
It’s critical that this be dealt with first – and quickly!
This exciting webinar series does just that – and much more. I have worked with thousands of people in the past and I will gently lead you to see the folly in your thinking and that the possibility of you speaking comfortably before groups, is well and truly part of your capabilities.
“But,” you may be thinking, “what about real experience with an actual audience?”
Well this interactive webinar covers that in two ways:
First, participants become their own virtual audience where they experience lots of interaction and two-way communication – just as effective public speakers experience.
Second, I share all of my hard-earned secrets on:
- how I prepares my approach for a speaking engagement, (as with this webinar)
- how I am going to interact with these people so they feel personally included
- how I learn what I can about the audience
- how I gather thoughts and plans
- what I say in an interesting way and
- how I successfully rehearse live with an audience before I even get there!
So whether you’re speaking sitting down, standing up, talking with one person, or presenting in front of a thousand people, this webinar series will help you confidently speak as the natural person you are ,whatever the situation.
So don’t miss out on this generous offer!
IMPORTANT: To get the best out of this webinar series, please read my book ‘How to take the panic out of public speaking‘ first!
- Thursday 4 July 2024 – 7pm – 7:30pm AEST – 1 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Getting you right first
- Everyone undergoes a sense of nervous uneasiness when asked to speak before a group. But these unsettling feelings, although natural, can be turned to your advantage. So getting you right first is the foundational key to it all, for those nagging fears of being somewhat unworthy and a bit of a fraud need to be sorted out at the very start. Only then can we move forward with a clear self-confidence on which to build. Session 1 throws open an exciting new pathway to this confidence.
- Thursday 1 August 2024 – 7pm – 7:30pm AEST – 2 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Controlled anticipation
- One major cause of public speaking fear I hear over and over again is the worrying period from the time you’ve been asked to give a speech, to the agonising moment you have to get up and deliver it! For many this dreaded lead-up is when the panic really takes hold. If you can relate to this, the easy to follow Four Step Formula in Session 2 will change this lead-up of fear into a period of controlled anticipation.
- Thursday 5 September 2024 – 7pm – 7:30pm AEST – 3 – Public Speaking – Now I can! The magic of being you
- How wonderful it would be if you could simply transfer the natural ease and comfort you feel when talking to family and friends up in front of an audience. Yet when we step forward to speak we tend to leave this relaxed side of us behind and become some stilted uncomfortable entity that people find it hard to relate to. Myth-busting session 3. explores ways to undo this untenable state-of-mind so you and your audience feel relaxed and enjoy each others’ company.
- Thursday 3 October 2024 – 12pm – 12:30pm AEST – 4 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Common stumbling blocks
- As already mentioned, this carefully designed webinar series evolved over many years of helping people overcome their public speaking fears. Especially the persistent stumbling blocks that crop up again and again, such as: “What if I go blank?”; “What do I do with my hands?”; and “I always go red!.” Mind-clearing Session 4. will remove all these devastating obstacles once and for all so they no longer get in your way.
- Thursday 7 November 2024 – 12pm – 12:30pm AEDT – 5 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Presentations that sell!
- With a selling presentation, your listeners won’t buy your products or service if they first haven’t bought you! So talk in their interests for people don’t buy ‘things’, they buy feelings and outcomes. They want to know if your service or product will give them peace of mind; increase their income; make their work easier; give them more time with their family; make them more attractive; engender admiration. So your presentation must answer the central question: “How will your product/service help me?” Session 5. will show you how.
- Thursday 6 February 2024 – 12pm – 12:30pm AEDT – 6 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Talks for social occasions
- One of the saddest things to hear before someone gets up to speak before a group of friends or family is, “I just want to get this over and done with!.” And of course these are the feelings they radiate and the whole thing is a sad, painful ordeal. In contrast, have you ever been at a reception or gathering where somebody gives a talk that moves people and entertains them? Well, Session 6 will show you how to ensure your special talk is a wonderful experience that people will remember for years.
- Thursday 6 March 2025 – 12pm – 12:30pm AEDT – 7 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Thinking on your feet
- A common anxiety among people is the fear of being asked to stand up and speak without any preparation. This could be the proverbial ‘few words’ at a social occasion, a contribution at a meeting, or being spokesperson in a time of crisis. You could be put on the spot to thank someone, introduce a speaker or field questions from the floor. In all these cases panic can take hold and totally destroy your composure. By the end of Session 7. you’ll have the know-how and self-confidence to be in control and acquit yourself well when this happens to you.
- Thursday 3 April 2025 – 12pm – 12:30pm AEDT – 8 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Meetings and discussion groups
- The purpose of any meeting is to promote cooperation among the group, exchange ideas, and get something done. Therefore an attitude of being friendly, courteous, tactful, and open-minded is all important. And with your new sense of self-worth reinforced in this program you’ll now be able to lead, and participate in meetings with the knowledge that your ideas and opinions are worth listening to. Session 8 will further ensure your contribution in meetings and discussion groups will promote cooperation in reaching consensus and getting things done.
- Thursday 1 May 2025 – 12pm – 12:30pm AEDT – 9 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Leaving nothing to chance
- Make no mistake, you are responsible for the success of your talk. So you need to be aware of the problems that can occur when you are speaking so you can do your best to avoid them. And most problems, with a bit of forethought and planning, can be avoided. Session 9. goes to great lengths in helping you see that everything runs smoothly and you leave nothing to the whims of fate.
- Thursday 5 June 2025 – 12pm – 12:30pm AEST – 10 – Public Speaking – Now I can! Tying it all together
- This final session ties everything we’ve learned together so it all makes communicating with confidence sense. You now have an ‘enlightened’ view of what public speaking that warmly connects with people is all about. Not only have you discovered the natural speaker that already exists in you, you now have the practical know-how, self-belief, and practical tools to do the job! No longer apprehensive and fearful, Session 10 gives you free rein to explore all we’ve learned before you confidently venture forwards on your own two feet.
