MAGIC MINUTE // Trouble Communicating – The whole Primary School stood there in shock.
“I’m very unhappy with the state of untidiness in the schoolyard,” the Principal Mrs Johnson admonished at morning assembly.
“Papers and lunch wraps carelessly scattered everywhere instead of being put in the proper rubbish bins. You should take more pride in your school and you better pull your socks up.”
Then there was movement.
For every little preppy in the front row bent down desperately trying to pull those wretched socks up.
You got to laugh at their logic in this.
You see things that seem perfectly clear to us are not necessarily the message others are getting.
