MAGIC MINUTE // Tale of the Unexpected – Hi I’m Laurie Smale

In my short illustrious cycling career the world revolved around teenage me with my brand new racing bike and fancy Italian gear.

I really was a sight to behold.

One day, riding along in all my splendour, I spied two nice looking girls heading my way.

I began dancing in the pedals while stealing a glance at my rippling muscles in the shop window, but what I didn’t see was the van door that swung open in front of me and bang I went from being a paragon of magnificence, to an ejected guy in the gutter and as I picked myself up, I reflected, maybe everyone doesn’t live for bikes the way I do.

I’d much to learn.
