MAGIC MINUTE // ‘Knowing A Person ‘ – Hi I’m Laurie Smale.

At an Aussie rules football match I found myself in a corporate setting enjoying lunch over a glass of wine with Ian Port, the local respected Town Planner.

Now Ian’s beloved Bulldogs were playing their arch rivals Melbourne and what a game it was with the Bulldogs kicking the winning goal with seconds to go.

Pandemonium broke loose with a Bulldogs theme song blaring in our ears.

Then Ian Port, the normally reserved City of Whitehorse Town Planner leapt onto his chair and started screaming the Bulldogs team chant at the top of his lungs.

Doggy, doggy, doggy, wolf, wolf, wolf!

It was hilarious, and I thought I knew this reserved man!
