MAGIC MINUTE // ‘Halloween Surprise’ – Hi I’m Laurie Smale.
I recently found myself in a pumpkin head mask venturing down the street with a gaggle of Halloween clad grown-ups and excited children, which was strange, for I was a bit skeptical of this Pagan American import to Australia.
Not the kids though.
They were in it for the fun of dressing up and the lollies as was the whole street.
One welcoming house had a big candlelit jack-o-lantern by the front door.
So the kids knocked, the door flew open and we all shriek with shock laughter for there stood a big man wearing a massive grinning horse head.
I now get it.
You see seeing things through the eyes of innocent children can give us a clearer view of things. Till my next Magic Minute 🪄
