Magic Minute A Feeble Cry For Help
MAGIC MINUTE // Sam picked up a feeble cry for help and quickly swam towards it, discerning two boys fighting for their life in the deeper water.
They’d drifted way past the sandbanks and fallen off their paddle board.
Through his mother’s encouragement Sam was quite a strong swimmer and powered towards them.
He pulled the younger boy to the surface barely conscious and pushed him onto the board.
“Pull yourself on too and hold him down!” He screamed at the other struggling boy.
With failing strength Sam braved the choppy waves and torturous haul back to shore where they all collapsed and vomited up sea water.
But they survived.
Never the hero, Sam knew he’d just done something special, for those two boys would never forget the day a heroic guy appeared from nowhere and saved their lives.
